This lovely and peaceful hobby of mine turned into an obsession once my mother, who taught me the art of knitting, passed away from ovarian cancer in 2008. Now, the many hours I spend knitting, outside of my regular day job and parenting 2 great kids, have allowed me to feel closeness to my beautiful mother and I feel honoured to now be able to sell my pieces as well as to be donating some of the proceeds to The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundations).
